In diesem Seminar werden wir uns im weitesten Sinne mit den Möglichkeiten und Grenzen Sozialer Arbeit im Kontext Flucht auseinandersetzen. Dabei erfolgt sowohl eine theoretische Annäherung an das Thema, mit einem besonderen Augenmerk auf die Perspektive geflüchteter Menschen, als auch eine praxisbezogene Auseinandersetzung bei der verschiedene Handlungsfelder und Methoden im Kontext Flucht erarbeitet werden.
Eine Sozialarbeiterin wird uns zusätzlich einen Einblick in ihre Arbeit in einer Gemeinschaftsunterkunft geben.
Die kritische Auseinandersetzung mit der eigenen Rolle als Sozialarbeiter*in in der Arbeit mit geflüchteten Menschen wird ebenfalls zentraler Teil unseres Seminares sein.

Social department stores are shops that sell second hand goods on a social basis / social price.
Very often they are called charity shops as well.

We want to work on the following questions together:
Why do social department stores exist?
What goals and functions do social department stores fulfil?
What different types of shops are there that sell second hand social?

My goal is to show you the entire social institution in which the “store” is embedded and to give you the opportunity to get YOUR questions answered with social workers, managers and employees on site!

According to current plans, we will visit social department stores in Hildesheim, Hanover, Laatzen, Wunstorf, Stadthagen and Nienburg and hold discussions on site.

Please be prepared:
We will start early and will not be back in Hildesheim until around 6 p.m. / 7 p.m during the three days (Mon., Tue., Wed.)

I have been to more than 60 social department stores in recent years and have had discussions on site.

Exams for incoming students:
You must attend the seminar regularly and fully.
You can write a term paper or give a lecture.
If you decide to give a lecture (20 minutes), please contact me in good time to discuss a topic.
The assignment of term paper takes place exclusively at the end of the last day of the seminar.
The last day for submitting term paper is September 16, 2024.

Welcome to the course "sociology of gender"!

In this summer semester we will take a look at concepts of gender sociology and their implications for our society. This includes reading and discussing texts that cover topics like gender as a social category, masculinity and power, the marginalization of femininity and intersectionality. Also we will examine the link between these concepts and practices of social work.

Ziel in diesem Module es ja internationale Grundlagen im Sozialpolitik zu vermitteln, diese in einen Soziale Wohlfart bzw (erstmal) Europäischen Kontext vorzustellen. Bildung, Organisationsstrukturen und Institutionen werden im Rahmen von Sozialpolititik diskutiert. Systemische Betrachtungsmodelle werden vorgestellt, Vergleichsaspekten bzw. Problematisierung zwischen Deutschland mit. ausgewählte Ländern werden besonders betrachtet. Inhaltlich geht diese Module Literaturmässig vom Fachartikeln (siehe beigefuegt) aus. Glokales Wissenerwerb (auf Maakro, Meso bzw Mikroebene) in der Soziale Arbeit/Sozialpolitik macht eine Kern in diese Seminar. Vorlesungen mit Kleingruppenarbeit wechseln sich im Klassenraum ab. Als Prufungsleistung wird ein mundliche (mit eine kurzfassende schriftliche Reflexion) Referat vorgesehen. Die Pedagogische Gestaltung ist schrittweise tematisiert bzw aufgebaut.
