Computational thinking and creative coding with ilithya!

It's a great pleasure to welcome ilithya @ilithya_rocks once again to our #DigitalEnvironments team. ilithya will be teaching computational thinking and creative coding within the so called “Integratives Projekt“. So if you already have some experience in writing code this advanced computational thinking seminar will be just right.

Kick-Off: Monday, 21st of October, 11.00 am, Interaction Design Lab

About Ilithya:

Ilithya is a multidisciplinary artist and technologist with a background in creative development and design from México, based in Hamburg, Germany. She has a B.A. in Marketing and is a self-taught programmer creating artworks with code and algorithms, sometimes interactive, pushing and pulling the intersection of art and technology. Her preferred medium to produce is writing shaders in OpenGL Shading Language. She’s currently exploring on-chain generative art, machine learning, and new media art technologies to create art on the web, physical installations, audiovisual and visual art, plus live performances. She also makes websites for people and brands, visuals for musicians, and teaches programming and creative coding.

Her work has been featured by Agora Digital Art and Studio 13/16, Centre Pompidou, as well as exhibited as a temporary installation or live coding performance in different countries via platforms like Night Lights Denver, Digital Art Month Paris, Neo Shibuya Tokyo, CADAF Art Fair New York, playrecordmint Basel, Iterations Amsterdam, Bright Moments México, Bideotikan Bilbao, and Refraction Portugal.
