Moodle, which is also used at the University of Bayreuth as an eLearning platform, is one of the most frequently used learning management systems. This course is aimed at university teachers and teaching support staff such as secretaries and tutors. You will learn how to create media-didactically appealing courses starting from a solid technical understanding. The course provides both an introductory and advanced learning path and covers the following content.

For beginners:

• General overview of Learning Management Systems and Moodle
• Interaction of didactic conception and course design based on the most frequently used functions
• Creation of your own Moodle course

For advanced learners:

• Using advanced functions (own selection)
• Identifying conditions for good Moodle courses based on practical examples
• Create your own Moodle course based on conceptual considerations
